If the superglue winds up failing I'll try JB Weld. RIght now it seems to be working so I'll just leave it. I had a similar idea for the cartridges, but I would just drill out the hole already in them, pour a little bit of solder into the hole to weigh down the tip, and then putting a screw with some fins on the end into the hole to make a big dart. As for the range, I don't really have enough room to test that.

If you cut off the pointy bit and weight the roundy bit with solder, there won't be any need for fins ;)
