My PVC pipettes finally arrived in the mail, but before I could even open it I realized an EXTREMELY annoying person (my mom's friend's daughter) opened up my package and tried gluing together two 90 degree elbows. NOOOOOOO! Anyways, now I have a PVC pipe between two 90 degree elbows, but the PVC is only about half way glued in the socket. I know this is horrible, but I guess I will have to use it anyways How much PSI can this screwed up joint handle before going boom? Also, I managed to take apart another thing she made with some pipe and fittings, but now there is a glue residue. I scraped off most of this residue, but will the glued surfaces not bond properly due to glue residue? (it was still kind of wet) Thanks guys.
(completely off topic, but this girl already destroyed our tv and my computer charger. Arrghhhh!!! )
Tell her you are going to press charges if she dont buy you new pipe and fittings. Its a federal offense to open someone elses mail. What a total bittch. I would be friggen pist!! Wreck something that belongs ro her.

83.27836839201PSI.
but I guess I will have to use it anyways
Why? You're putting your health at risk. By the sounds of it, none of the fittings are usable; especially under pressure. If she's old enough, get her to pay for replacements. If she isn't old enough, get her mum to. How does behaviour like this go unnoticed or unpunished?

I'm angry about this, and it didn't even happen to me. Go to her parents, and tell them what she did, and then demand payment from them. If they didn't repay you for the damages done, then you may do exactly what was said earlier, and press charges.
Thanks for the replies guys. I guess I will use this gun at 20 psi or 10 psi. I already raged on her, and her mom is going to pay for all damage. Yayyyy
Edit: Mcrowley, she's around 12 but she acts around 6.
Seriously, there's no point. Just chuck the fittings away. Who knows what she did to them. I doubt anything bad will happen at only 10 or 20psi, but you're not going to get any performance if you're using a sprinkler valve or something.
Ok I made a simple prototype with the screwed up pipes and a union I found because where I live, PVC is actually very hard to come by. This is why I'm not chucking them out, as I would have to wait 10 days for another shipment to come in. I'm not worried too much about the badly welded joints, as I doubt <20 psi would do much damage. Mattyzip, the primer and glue were also in the box.
