Hi all, I'm thinking of starting a copper gun and have been looking at some of the designs floating around here. I like the idea of a breach loader but somehow I'm not that keen on the bolt-action design. It looks a bit hit or miss as to whether or not a good (and tidy) seal is made. I was thinking of using a 3 way ball valve or a modified 2 way ball valve (hole drilled in top) as a tap loading mechanism, as found on certain air rifles. The 3 way ball valve could have a sealed "magazine tube" screwed onto the top....Bren gun style.

I'd be interested to know if anyone has tried this out and I'd appreciate any further comment/ideas from other forum members........Thanks.
Slugfoot.

I know that Chewy(now Dead) used a ballvalve with a hole in it on a rifle. A 3 way is usually a diverter valve and most likley wont do what you want. I would sugusst you use the 2 way with a hole in it.
