I'm guessing that even if I did use 4500psi (god forbid) with a 68ci tank, all of the air would not come out at once, it would just keep discharging for a few seconds? I am trying to figure out the maths behind it, I have done mathematical mechanics but only at basic levels; velocity, projectile motion, things like that.

If you poke a hole in a bucket of water, will it all come out at once
You need to define what you want to achieve before thinking about the hows.

Is that your cannon? Impressive.
But I believe you are referring to the regulator thread size.
I was hoping to figure out a pipe system so that 4500psi would be realised at once, securely tied to the floor of course.

I meant the threads which are usually on the bottle where it hooks up to the paintball marker.
Some photos of your setup would help us help you.
