It's a barrel sealing piston valve in a T. Check the wiki for more information.

its not a combustion, there is no ignition, just a trigger which is the blowgun under the T

this is an pnuematic gun...only combustion guns require an ignition source..
however...if, by ignition, you meant how is the pressure in the chamber released, then that would be through the blowgun

this is an old thing to post on but i agree with HAYLO, asking for plans is like giving away your dignity, and what you have accomplished. if you are going to build a cannon, sure look at the current designs, but build your own gun instead of copying a design.

Sorry for opening this old tread, but I have a question though. The barrel, I see that you have a metalic inner barrel? I can see treads at the thick part of it in the first pic. Do you use the metalic (I mean, the part with the metalic colour) piece as barrel, or as a ramming rod ?
What's is the caliber of the gun, and at what pressure do you use it ? What kind of ammo do you use ? Darts I suppose. Is it possible to show us a pic of the ammo ? (is it homemade ?)
I like the design very much.

first of all mr.taterhead it was posted by the admin(PCGUY) not the builder of the gun.second it was posted over a year and a half ago and im not sure if spudinator is still active on the forum.third maybe no one knows an answer to his question
