I did some research and my conclusion is that I want to make a marble shooting sniper
my idea was was to make a gun like the picture below but from metal and with a piston
I never made a piston and a problem is that I cant find 45 degree angle's at 22mm or something simular

Is that a ball valve?

Yah, originally he was going to make a spring powered ball valve but I guess someone knocked some sense in himpaaiyan wrote:Is that a ball valve?

Hmm..pressurizing the stock?
If the stock did fail....

...you would end up with the same result as if the chamber failed.OuchProgramme wrote:Hmm..pressurizing the stock?

You did read he was going to use metal also?
why is everyone against using the stock as a chamber!? i just don't understand why people post comments that say "pressurizing the stock?" when, if built strong enough to be a proper chamber, it should be perfectly safe to be carried around! plus, if your chamber blows, whether it's under your arm or 6 inches from it at the front of the gun,

Lol my Sprinkler Valved cannon is like, exactly like that. And i find no problem with pressurising the stock, especially if it is metal.
To answer your question...I dont think you can get 22mm PVC. Either that or its really rare. The closest to that is 20mm.
And where are you going to get the scope? Online?

...He said he's using metal, not PVC.
Many options for you
-Dont use 22mm pvc but a different size.
-Use a different angle
-Pipe bending (does this weaken the pipe?)
-Find 22mm 45 degrees somewhere else

I din't use pvc it is to weak because if you drop it on pressure or bump against something the result is ....
I think I need to find an other diameter or somewere the 45degree
and yes it was origionally a ball valve but I want to make a piston
and why all the "pressure on the stock?" if you have comments fine but find a solution.
pipe bending will effect the flow

Would making 45 degree corners not?
I wouldnt worry much about that.

ok
I went to the store
I found a 45 degree angle piece but it needs to be soldered
I have the supplies but is it difficult to solder it air tight
Is it maybe that easy that I can buy all angles as solder angles
It would save a lot of money
I thought bending myself so it would snap a bit
It's sooo lol I started with "I" every time

I tell you you may also use epoxy instead of soldering (right guys? i myself never did)sniper hero wrote:ok

I wish you good luck building the gun
I look forward to see it
I say this is the end of the post

I got now some 28 mm parts
I need to buy 45 degree angles now ( or bend pipe)
and buy pipe 28mm and marble barrel
and then all the things for the piston
and then make it

I got all pipe and fittings by now
so I need to solder everything and make the piston and buy a pilotvalve (I thought a one like from the
S 400~chaos)
and tomorow I will get a bike valve
has anybody a good idea to get an 20 mm pipe OD into a 28mm OD
here are some pics (it needs to be soldered)
