i think he means the diaphragm, a diaphragm valve is basically a piece of rubber that sits between the barrel (goes thru the chamber) and the male adapter or plug on the back of the cannon. when air is pushed in the diaphragm bends and allows air go go into the chamber, when the small bit of air behind the diaphragm is released(using the blowgun) the diaphragm bends the other way and the air in the chamber goes through the barrel

The lid off of a Tupperware container would work well.

Also another piece of advice, instead of posting three times in a row, you can use the edit button. It allows you to change your posts. :wink:

firstly, edit your posts, dont make 3 in a row, secondly, sheet rubber, and you can get neoprene from other places than cymbal mufflers, your hardware store should carry it in one form or another, also try some Fernco Quik Caps, they're rubber fittings for pipe with a hose clamp on them, cut out the size you need from it and use it as a phragm

hey what size pvc is ur chamber? i dont want planz or anything but i can't tell if the chamber is 2" or 1.5 or what.

judging the size difference between the 2.5" barrel and the chamber i'd say its 1.5"

ok thanx alot! no i know that i can make this out of sum scrap i have around my house :twisted: :twisted: :twisted: if it was 2" i would have to go like 6miles to the nearest hardware store :( ,but i can do it now :)

is it cpvc or sch80 3/4" cuz my marbles dont fit at all in my reg sch40 3/4" barrel
