Here is my first Pneumatic spud gun. It uses a 30” holding chamber and has a 3 foot barrel. It uses a single modified sprinkler valve to fire.
I also have the *rare* SDR 21 pvc installed as the barrel. When I bought all the pvc I asked the guy for 1.5” not knowing I would get SDR21. I have heard that the SDR 21 is perfect for golfballs and lemme tall ya it has a nice fit. I never installed 2” over the pipe because it states that it is rated too 200 psi right on the barrel.
This gun has seen some action, I have successfully fired a potato in it at 100 psi.
I also accidentally filled it to 130psi and it didn’t blow up on me.
Overall it is a good reliable nice sized gun,. I plan to make it a double valve in the future.

Nice Gun!

You could of been a little more careful with primer, but hey it works with primer stains. As to the sleeving of SDR-21. The reason SDR-21 is sleeved is to protect from "crush" loads. The pressure rating is for pressure stored on the inside pushing out. Mostly though its for keeping your barrel straight. Ive only managed to chip one of my unsleeved barrels at the top. It was leaning up against the wall and fell on the cement. Again nice cannon, the only thing I could of suggested is to minize primer stains and to "butt" the fitiings or at least make them closer together.

EDIT: Where you inject your air, it is only tap into only the pipe. To insure safety and that there are no leaks, it would be best to tap into a "double-thick" area where both the pipe and the fittings overlap. You can do this mod with a saw, coupling, primer, glue, and tap for new hole. Simply tap new hole into a "double-thick" area.

Cut out were the old hole used to be, then reconnect with the coupling (with glue and primer of course). To me it looks like that thing could easy bust off if dropped, sending air shooting everwhere and possilby lauching the injecting apperatace in a different direction. To who knows where

pretty basic, u might want to consider painting the bugger haha.
Pimpmann is again right, the design would work better had u not placed the barrel so far away from the chamber, you'll find it hard to lug that thing around and it will also be more fragile, so dont let it fall down or over itself.

Anyways good work

The reason why I left so much space in between the 1” fittings is for future mods (maybe a 2X valve or a supah valve.) I was dumb for putting the air filler to the right I would like to stick it more inward to prevent it from breaking off. Luckily I have some 1” sleeves lying around ( : so I’ll fllow your advice
I also do plan to paint it. Using plastic primer and some spray-paint, then I will go over my paintjob with some spray lacquer so it will be glossy and non scratchable.
