HOLY CRAP! that thing is big!
Too bad the sprinkler valves are so small for the size of the gun.
If you had piston valves on that sucker, I bet it would kick like a mule, and put soda cans through anything in it's way.

And where did you get 6 inch pressure rated pipe from? Did it cost your soul or was it on sale for your first born???

Dude, your name says it all, WOW!
What you need to try now is some kind of buckshot.

Quite a monster
Just never let that barrel get free of the chamber, the small bore pipes to the sprinklers will not be happy bunnies if the very large bore barrel ends up levering away at them.
The sprinklers are holding back the power, it took over a second for the cannon to fully vent but they're still producing a satisfactory result.

Yea I do know how to make them all but just didn't have the money right now. And yes there is a lot of pressure on the connection were the 1" goes to the chamber, that is why I have the barrel taped down like that to relieve the pressure on the joint.
I got the pipe from my job this summer, the plumbers gave it to me because they were just going to pitch it out, it was a cut off of a 20' section. But the nice thing is there is a supply place by my house and a 10' 6" pipe is around $30-40
Thanks

Instead of doing dual 4" piston valves, just use one. Since the barrel is 3" already, a single 4" pistol valve (I assume 3" porting?) will work perfectly with it. Sure, having two would potentially give you more power, but due to all of the elbows and crosses you would add into the system, it would just end up costing you more with no performance gain.
Wow this rivals the swat gun! Are you using that red tape as a barrel support? A gun this good needs a good paint job. You should crop the beginning of the video so it's just the shot. Do you have a stand for this thing?

Actually no. IIRC, the SWAT cannon had two 10' 6" chambers, 20' barrels and a 4" piston valve.jonnyboy wrote:Wow this rivals the swat gun!
It's a nice cannon nonetheless, i'm just waiting for you to stick a piston valve on that thing, it sends chills down my spine just thinking about what it could do

May I ask what you used to go from the 1" up to the 4" I've been having trouble doing this.

He didn't use 4" pipe on the cannon by the looks. He used a 1" male threaded adapter, to a 2" bushing which joins to a 2" elbow and tee, and then he used a 2" to 6" bushing I think.
Oh my bad I knew the SWAT gun was bigger but I thought it had a smaller diameter chamber. You need a bigger barrel on this WOW.MrCrowley wrote:Actually no. IIRC, the SWAT cannon had two 10' 6" chambers, 20' barrels and a 4" piston valve.jonnyboy wrote:Wow this rivals the swat gun!
