paintball weight

I just build myself a marble sniper on a wooden stock mount. It has a 3/4 barrel x 2 foot and a 1.5 x 1 foot chamber with an modded sprinkler valve.

I shooted some marbles and they go in straight line( no deviation) but my parents dont know it and they dont want me to shoot non biodegradeble ammo.

i tryed clay and a mix of flour and water but they are too much lightweight and they go evrywhere.

So i thinked of paintballs, they will fit right with only a little bit of wadding.
But i am a little concerned about there weight, a clay projectile dont work so, will paintball do?

Paintballs will weigh less than clay. However, I don't think weight is the only thing affecting how well the projectile flies.

Paintballs are usually 3 to 4 grams in weight depending on brand, most hovering around the 3.5 mark.

I had some paintballs weigh in at nearly 3 grams.

If you want a biodegradable projectile that's hard to break, use MonsterBalls paintballs from WalMart.
