Well...here's a proof of concept gun from your friendly forum BTB...

I had to do something to show Psy is not the only Dutchman on top... :D

A QEV gun, 1" reservoir, hammervalve actuated so it's repeating.

http://eurospudguns.forumsdot.com/downl ... .php?id=49

The bolt action is a little different, because it feeds through a T, wich enables me to use a solid bolt, the same diameter as the ammo.
Just one opening to seal...

http://eurospudguns.forumsdot.com/downl ... .php?id=50

A magazine will be fitted later, wich will feed ammo to the bolt.
A hammer will also be fitted, wich wil be cocked by pulling back the bolt.

The bolt is solid as I mentioned, so itenabled me to tap a handle into it, not just for looks, but because this construction is stronger.
An O-rong seals it.

I get 5-6 shots out of the reservoir at 20 bar.
I mean to fill it to 45 though, so a heavy hammer will be needed.

The backpart of the bolt makes it easy to attach a hardwood handcarved stock later...
All of you can use this design, just be sure the bolt , when closed, is strong enough to take the blow.It;s gonna be next to your face.

I'm contemplating on changing this into leveraction.

I might do a pump action also.

It's all relatively simple now..

very nice... I had thought about something similar to this before but was too lazy to build it

question... I'm assuming the barrel goes back into the tee a bit...but how does air get into the barrel if the o-ring seals the bolt and it is solid...

I'm kinda tired now so I'm not really thinking straight... thanks for being patient

EDIT: Does the air flow around the smaller diameter nut on the front of the bolt? I'm assuming thats what it is

The ammo is loaded from the back, pushed in by the bolt. The bold doesn't go into the barrel, it merely pushes the ammo into the barrel.
Do not look back, and grieve over the past, for it is gone;
Do not be troubled about the future, for it has not yet come;
Live life in the present, and make it so beautiful that it will be worth remembering.

The bolt is plugged with a 1/4" plug.

It pushes the marble until it sits on top of the valveport.

The barrel and bolthousing are one piece.

As the ( edit: original) topic title suggests, it's marble caliber, 16mm.

In the original post you'll find 2 links to pictures I can;t seem to embed.

Click 'em.One is a full length picture.

Edit:
Woopsy...No it's not

Here is the link now

You got me there :roll: :D he's playing with over three times the pressure so I doubt I can outdo him in terms of power, but let's see if I can come up with something that works this time ;)
