<div align="center">MINI PNEUMATIC
This is a small pneumatic that I use to shoot AA batteries, fire crackers, potatos, bolts, darts, water, and whatever else I can find. The chamber is made from 1.5" sch-40 PVC and the barrel is .5" sch-40 PVC. The ball valve is .5" and opens easly and smoothly. To fill the chamber, I inserted an automotive schrader valve into the end cap. The chamber is rated for 330psi, but the most I have put in it is 180psi, with this much pressure and a quik flip of the valve, I can shoot a bolt through a metal coffee can.

very nice design, and the metal ball valve looks good on it, and a sprinkler valve won't fit as far as I know... (no 1/2" sprinklers)

you could go with a 1/2" asco solenoid valve or a 1/2" QEV

With a couple of bushings you could go from a 1/2 pipe to a 3/4 sprinkler valve, it could be a couple bucks, but going from 3/4 to a 1/2 would really constrict flow.

Do they make smaller selinoids? They proably do but they might be for another application.

I think that the smallest is a 1/4 in solenoid valve by Asco.

no, i've seen 1/8" solenoids, and a 1" probably wouldnt be in the way, just put it before the elbows, it should fit

I ment do they make them more compact so there is not a thing that sticks out on the top. Thats what I dont like about selinoids there to bulky.

screw em on upside down, that way they shouldnt be in your way as much

Or you could pneumatically mod the valve, although on the Asco's I don't think it's possible. By modding it you'd get rid of that ughly solenoig.

i think it depends on the size of the asco, the big ones can be modded, i saw a few chewy modded

the smallest solenoid valves ive ever seen is 13mm it has 15mm threads on one side and a 13mm barbed fitting on the other im thinking of buying one but modding it would be hard because the whole top cover is the solenoid!! i might have to make a new top for it from plastic sheet
the thing i dont like about these 13mm valves is that they want me to buy them in a two pack for $45 and i only need one
