They've got there work cut out for them...

Heck, even that beasty isn't anywhere near as large, or as powerful, as the largest compressed gas guns ever built.

Heck, a generic torpedo launching tube is more powerful, let alone the coastal type guns that were built. Or even the catapult on an aircraft carrier.

While I thinkthe Venom is pretty sweet, I don't think it will throw 7lb projctiles 3 miles, or 300lb projectiles at 1000fps.... And if it could, I would want to be holding it to fire it...

I think he may have been being sarcastic guys.

Anyway, I doubt either of those are as entertaining or fun to use as the Venom. Using them is just going to be too "push a button".

I have nothing wrong with doing things with some science and calculation behind them, but in my opinion, a handheld cannon will always trump a remotely triggered one for entertainment.
Does that thing kinda look like a big cat to you?

Nod's from me on that one.... Nothing quite like feeling the kick of a 32oz monster can filled with sand fired from a large bore cannon charged to 160+psi...

Not necessarily. A joystick controlled turret is just as cool. :)
