hey guys i have been think about a simple hybrid and for some reason deisal engines popped in my head so i was think if you had a certian amount of psi in a closed contaner with a burst disc at one end add a 1/2 a teaspoon of dieal fuel and add presure it would go bam right i have heard this work with paintball tanks because idots lube the fill nipple and add presure and there tanks explode
if u have any comments please help
also i sorry if this goes agsint rules it not solid propelent it basicly a hybrid right

In the diesel engine, only air is introduced into the combustion chamber. The air is then compressed with a compression ratio typically between 15 and 22 resulting into a 40-bar
from this i believe u need around 40 bars to make the dieal to go "bam"

Mabe make it just like an engine though instead on having the piston pushed up by the crankshaft (and other pistons going down) have a pressure vessel with 40 bar behind it and a burst disk that bursts pushing the piston forward and igniting.
Thats the only way i think you'd be able to trigger it with an acceptable lock time and taking out the guess work. (So you're not waiting for 10 min till the little fridgy get the pressure up)

I hate burst your bubble but it will not work. Think of a Diesel engine, it has a glow plug to heat the air in the cylinder and it still cranks for a few seconds before it fires the first time when it is cold. It is the very fast compression causing the heat that ignites the fuel not the pressure. You need to compress the fuel air mixture into a smaller volume not just increase the pressure. Unless you were to build a piston that would shoot forward with a huge amount of pressure it would not work, even then the piston would cause a large problem.

Possibly, But I don’t think you understand the amount of force it takes to compress it fast enough. Besides using stuff we can’t talk about on here a hybrid based ram would do the job but what is the point of that? Ok, so none of you really understand what you are talking about. Dieseling works in spring pellet rifles, though they are not designed for those pressures or temperatures, so it ruins the seals fast. It is completely possible.
