I got my QEV in the mail the other day, so i decided to throw together a little gun to test the power. It is probably 800psi capable, but i take it to 200 psi which is my limit atm. I made it as compact as possible keeping the pilot and fill inline with the chamber. This is a spare parts gun, so yes some parts were improvised like the barrel attachment method. The setuo may look a little awkward, but it can be comfortably shot with one hand and reasonable accuracy.

I would buy one if I were you, its a great valve and a great price on Ebay. I plan on building a paintball semi, but it will be used on a variety of different launchers.
on another note,
I added a new pilot system, and it has improved the power by a lot. It is the same pilot system from my copper dueling pistol

hey... I know that QEV...

I really like the way you did your trigger.

And I wouldn't take it to 800psi with the PVC barrel, especially attached the way it is. You might have to reinforce the stock diaphragm thing in the QEV.

i used that same qev up to 700 psi but 800 might be pushing it. and the diaphram should hold because it has supports in the valve seat to prevent it from blowing out

You have to type out "quick exhaust valve".
