iv been building this on and off for about 2months, its not finished just yet but fully functional. only needs to be sanded and painted

SPECS
Barrel: 650mm of 20mm electrical conduit, its really loose 1mm each side :( need a upgrade.
ammo capacity: one 20 round mag and two 10 round clips. all spring fed, homemade springs.
Valve:1/2'' festo qev, 10mm seat.
Pilot Valve: 1/8'' pantball slide valve.
Chamber: 10cm of 3/4'' galvanized pipe. small but 600psi makes up for it .
Operating pressure: 200-600 psi, with my 1l tank i get 20 really good shots 10good shots, then i refill it.
Reload mech: homemade air cylinder to cycle ammo, the receiver is two brass tees with a peace of 20mm copper pipe soldered in it.

The stock seems quite chunky, but very nicely done anyway. I think a caliber of that size at the pressure you intend to operate could do some serious damage. :D Post a video?

Now that's pretty cool

Can't wait to see it fully painted - I bet it will look a lot like Tavor assault rifle
the red dot sight
It's one of those cheapo chinease reddots, right ?
I've always wondered if they're any good?

So air ram connected to chamber loads ammo from behind the QEV ?

Does the trigger close the fill valve and pilot in one action ?

Looks good !

I have a cheap red dot, the main issue, is the dot will wander slightly if you move your head. If there is a stock on the gun and the cheek rest is used it is OK.

I don't think that's surprising... they are to behave in that way.... the only question is how well does this feature work

A good red dot sight should stay on target even if your head moves, cheap ones drift. So unless you resume the exact same position when looking through the sight, the point of aim will be slightly different.
I tried a $600 EOtech and I definitely didn't drift like my cheapo one does.

yea that how it works, the trigger pilots in when you pull back and fills when you let go, i have a safety that stops it coming back if you engage it.

im going to paint the top 1/3 black to cover all the epoxy putty and walnut stain the rest. then if it looks stupid mate black everything. ill lever the alu riser and rails alone

This is really cool. About how heavy is the whole thing? Also, what are you using for an air chamber? How is the feeding of paint balls? Everything is so neat and has similar specs I would like to accomplish on my build. Great work !!! :D

Hmmmm im not sure id say about 2.5-3kg + 1kg for the fire extinguisher tank, Its a marble cannon i don't use paint balls, it would most probably mush paint balls if i did use them.

In other news i painted the top bit black and will stain the rest tomorrow. expect vids/new pics soon.

Looking forward to them :)

If I could make a small aesthetic/safety suggestion, it needs a trigger guard.

What's performance like? I've found marbles that fit very well in 20mm conduit (17mm) so maybe some searching is in order to reduce blowby and optimise velocity.

A diagram of the feed mechanism would also be of interest if you have the time ;)

defiantly need a new barrel, im looking. i might be getting 500 15mm ss bbs for free, if so i have a steel barrel id is 15.07mm i would just need to get 1/2'' bsp threads on one end, but i can do that at work.

but the power is pretty good for the barrel, easily puts marbles though 9mm mdf boards.

i made a safety that when you push it in the trigger cant be pushed back, and the trigger is really stiff so i don't think it needs a real guard

Cool, nice gun. so does it run just from the pressure in the galvanized pipe, it isn't attached to a separate tank or air compressor?, cos if so i might nick that idea.

Yes it needs a tank or a compressor to run.
