Hi everybody :).
A month ago I found a blowgun, with only the valve part functional :? , so I decided to build a hammer valve gun, hoping to get multiple shots from it.
In able to keep it powerful enough, I needed it to be leak free with high pressure(something like 600-800 psi) , so I made it as simple as possible, just chamber+valve section of the blowgun, connected together with a aluminum tube covered with fiberglass.
When finished I found out the the gun is just amazing  , the hammer valves far better than I thought(I thought they opens slow like a blowgun or ball valve), with 700 psi the bb can hits a 3/4 pvc tube at 60m(a little bit of luck is needed :D ), and I´m able to get 5-6 nice shots from that tiny chamber  , so I mounted a 12 round magazine to it,bolt action breech load, works smoothly 8) .
Stock made from wood, adjustable supports :) 4x20 scope for now, will buy a better one.
The suppressor works REALLY well, before when I shot the gun it scares all the neighbors, now I can shot it inside my house without disturbing my parents :o , and it does not affect the accuracy at all :D .

I AM Amazed !!
great work , i love it.

what ID your barrel have, and did you rifled it :?:
at 60 meters you got a great accuracy ,even commercial air rifle can be little hard.

and what's your air source 800 psi :?:
whats that blue hose:?:
whats that blue rod near the scope :?:
can you give us picture of how the air goes from the chamber into barrel :?:

i trying to build a new hammer valve concept that have open with little hammer strike even with very high pressure.

so does that hammer valve give you good power as piston valve :?:

very good work :D :D :D :D :?:

Wow that´s a lot of questions for a unprofessional builder like me :D
The barrel is 6mm in dia, for bbs and pellets, not rifled :(
I use a fridge compressor that I luckily found on my way to school :D
The blue hose is a hydraulic tube, initially I used it to connect a basic barrel for test shots, the blue rod you see is the bolt action I think  .
No it can not be compared to a piston valve, sadly :(

Nice work! All I would add is some sort of foregrip under your chamber to really make it ergonomic.

Looks like you have two seperate bolts for loading and arming your hammer. It would be really great if your hammer arming bolt could slide back, arm the hammer, and also open the bolt.
so many muchness

That is sick! Can we get a close up of the valve and/or a diagram?

I thought a lot about that or some simular design, but after considering a little bit, I decide to choose reliability first :)
I will upload some diagram tomorrow, a little too late for today

Another good illustration of the fact that with a bit of imagination and epoxy, you can put together a relatively complex and effective launcher without the need for an enormous budget or high end tools. Let's see it in action :)

nice build, a little similar to what i have started building, except mine will only run on 400psi and the suppressor is integral, all i need to finish the workings of mine is a spring, where did you get your and how wide is it?
why make it if it dosent shoot?

The spring came from a old spring bb pistol, and I think the size doesn't matter a lot, springs of any size that are strong enough to open your valve would work. Today is sunny :D looks like I can make a video, luckily I could catch a nice shot of 60m (normally one in 3 I can hit the 3/4 pvc tube)

the reason why i asked is i need a 13mm OD spring to fit the inside of the tube i have the hammer in, it could be a bit smaller but i still havent been able to find one appropriate for the tube, anyways i cant get bb guns here so it dosent really matter, would really lime to see you video though, how dose it go against a soup tin at close range?

plastic or metal bb? with the right spring mine should be able to shoot through both sides of a soup tin point plank with a metal bb but it is only 5mm and 400psi, might be getting a fridge compressor soon so i might be able to pump um the pressure a bit but i dont think i would go anymore than 600psi with my chamber and home made hammer valve, but thats if i get around to getting the compressor set up, mainly would be due to lack of money

this is what iv got so far
