I used 0.25g airsoft bbs, I don´t have enough age to buy metal bbs or pellets

thanks but if yours can put an airsoft bb through both sides of a soup tin you defiantly have a more powerful one

dont feel so bad, here you need a licence to even buy airsoft

the only none basic tools i used where a dermal (kinda basic still) and a bench grinder that uses dermal tool bits

i hate walking by the machine shop at work we have 2 CNC mills 1 CNC radial arm drill/mill and 5 lathes, so close yet so far way, hopefully after a bit they will let me use them(only my second week there).

Here you need a licence for airsoft guns, and I have this type of licence for airsoft and paintball, but you can buy bbs and accessories(scope etc.) without licence

yea my dad uses it for his work.
you mean the slots? i used a dermal tool witha cutting disk, and its only aluminium

Both of you guys are doing a HECK of a job! Kudos! 8)

If it's REALLY loud, the valve is likely still open after the bb has left the barrel. This is a sign of too much valve dwell (open time).

If you get that under control, you'll reduce the noise level without a significant power loss. AND....get more shots per charge.

Couple things you can look at:

Reduce the mass of the striker.

Decrease the striker spring strength or preload.

Decrease the transfer port diameter. (Flattens and extends the shot string...increase striker spring preload to get the power back)

Increase valve spring strength or preload.

Edit: Forgot to add fill pressure...play with that too. Find the sweet spot.

Playing with these variables I've increased my shot count from 12 to 19...at no loss in fps or fpe. Still playing with it.

Yes I have been looking the best combination for the valve, right now I´m satisfied about the results, the noise wasn´t REALLY loud, but loud , because of the pressure.

You may be able to put an adjustment screw on the end of the spring. that would allow full adjustment of the power of your spring. I don't know exactly how you made it so I can't say for sure. Picture of the end behind the spring and where the spring rests?

no I didn´t put a screw, can´t find one that big

Sorry, I meant a bolt. Brains not functioning well this early in the day. Maybe take a small bolt and thread it into the back and put a washer on the end of it to seat the spring on. It's definitely worth a shot.
