This is my newest finished project. The chamber is 3/4''x12'' steel pipe running through a Tee into the copper valve. The piston is hot glue with a 1/4'' thick slice of a rubber stopper as the sealing face. The barrel side of the valve is appox. 1/2'' porting through a 3/4''x1/2'' fitting adapter and into a 1/2'' threaded adapter. I may change the chamber setup with a three-way valve to use with my co2 tank and maybe a regulator. It seems to pack a monster of a punch but i have yet to test it above 80PSI.
Thanks! White Lithium Grease is what I used so I don't know how it will react. It seems to be doing fairly well but I'll keep an eye on it. I actually made three different pistons trying to get it right. Finally did it though. Next buy is a three-way -valve-(edit) and a HPA tank. Semi-auto!

Nice gun. Now lets see some damage pics.

Guy's, damage pics are delayed because my small 300PSI compressor failed on me today. It won't get above 160PSI and even then it starts to smoke. So much for 300PSI! Next shopping trip is for a fridge compressor. It'll have to wait for some cash flow since that flow is very restricted.
Those small 12 volt emergency compressors are not up to the task of high pressure and long run times. The claims of high pressure are with the hose plugged for a few seconds. They are only intended to top off a low tire to maybe 35-45 PSI then be switched off. They were never built to fill a tire to 300 PSI. It won't run long enough to do the job and not go up in smoke.
