I'm planning on buying a shock pump for my new QEV/Slide valve combo.
Hopefully I can find one with a long draw.
Does anybody have any recommendations? :D

I was considering making a homemade pump but it seemed like it would be too hard to get the perfect seal and such.

I recommend this model (you'll find it the same design sold under different brands)

It's ideal for high pressure mini launchers that use the same schrader for filling and piloting for two reasons, first of all it has a gauge that goes up to 400 psi and more importantly, you can press/release the shrader valve stem using the threaded purple knob on the top of the attachment independently of having the valve attached or detached, very useful :)

Also, the side mounted pipe allows you to rest it on a hard surface while pumping to make things easier.

I have that same pump that I got at sports challet for $25. The schrader valve depressors is awsome but it gets pretty hard to pump at the higher pressure.

Have you seen the shoebox compressor they pump to 3000psi but it takes overnight to fill a normal scuba tank not sure about paintball tanks but there around $300-$400 mark

Edit: they also have a 4500psi one
Link to website: http://www.shoeboxcompressor.com/
They also brought the price up to $550 :/

I don't think you'll find cheaper than this one new, if you can get it shipped.

You might want to check UK sites, close to Portugal so shipping won't be so bad and there should be plenty of good second hand deals.

this one looks well within your budget: http://www.solware.co.uk/air-pistol-air ... Pump.shtml

I'm sure you will find a site that ships overseas for a good price.

Also they're very loud. Plus, I can fill my HPA tank to 3000psi in less then an hour with my pump. If you can continuously pump for thirty minutes you'd be golden. Also a regulated input helps, but I hardly ever use mine because my compressor is outside and its still over 100 here

Pumping isn't hard, it's the number of pumps that will get you. I'm about 62kg and pushing the pump down on each individual stroke is not hard at all without too high of a pressure input (less than 100psi)

EDIT: I'm actually about 70, but it's still very little force I have to put on the pump, actually less then it takes to take my track pump to 200psi
