I need a new type of ammo. My gun has a barrel of 1/2". I have shot nails and "paper/nail bricks" with absolute no luck. I had a video planned but I figure who would want to watch an hd video of me being boring so I will show you some ammo fails.
My ghetto thunder:

You know there is a whole thread about this already.
And a page on the wiki.
And a bunch of other threads like this started by people who don't know how to search.

The thread is outdated as I posting would be against the rules. The wiki does not cover my barrel size. A new thread will create more current types of ammo coverage which were not introduced before.

Steel balls work nicely in my ball valve airgun with 1/2" PVC barrel.
Another good one that I made is a bolt with a round head, and a nylon spacer. I found a bolt with a head that fit nice in my barrel.

I'll try that but do you know anything about some fine point ammo?

Stick a nail out the front of it
I don't really use darts. When I first made airguns, I took a milk carton and cut a sheet out, heated it up and then pushed a cone shape out. Then I would stick a nail through it and hot glue the nail in. Those are actually nice darts. Sharpening the tips makes them even better.

try compacting aluminum foil if your barrel my removing it and jaming some down with a dowel against the ground. i have managed to shoot through peices of wood with that. or 1/2 inch marbles are nice.

Ooo so much to choose from haha. The first picture you have has a drag... Ima go make some hot glue molds and shave emm and hopefully shoot them tonight. If you guys know how to make some molds or ammo with molds tell meh. But for now my mould is a piece of barrel. Gun Freak the darts are a lil unaccurate but that was a beast starter

- with solder makes decent bullets. you shouldn't do this for large calibers like 1/2 inch bc that would take twaayy to much solder
-

- two blocks of wood with appropriate holes in them. (lube holes before use)

Okay the hot glue bullet would have to be made out of 5 sticks so i'm not gunna do that. My fail bullet earlier, I took the center out and put a nail threw and I have a lethal bullet. I'm not playing at 10psi it goes threw clothes accidently and and 150psi it goes clean threw 3mm plastic threw a towel into wood.....
