Well just tested it with a CO2 cartridge and the original piston... worked fine, no leaks. So all thats left is to make a body for this, and eventually a magazine.

haha. indeed you did o wise JSR.

cuz i can't resist the urge of shooting something, took a few shots while it was at max power, even though it was a 3/8" bearing, so there was considerable blow by. At 10 feet or so, managed to penetrate a 1/4" into a 1" particle board. So hopefully when I make an airtight projectile, power will be better.

Started making actual projectiles today..

I'm sorry for the terrible quality of the picture I couldn't get it to focus on it to save my life.

It's pretty basic, just a short section of the barrel is lubed up, the ball bearing is dropped in and epoxy is poured into it.

Haven't test fired it yet, but it should give a good airtight seal and will be pretty easy to feed via magazine eventually.

Looks good :) I'd be concerned about the BB breaking off on firing though if you haven't roughened the adhering surface.

it just broke off before even firing... so I will have to roughen the adhering surface of the Ball bearing for the next one.

Make sure there's no grease or lube on it too. Hit it with a blow torch to burn it off.
