I've seen many people talking about different valves, ,
I have heard bad reviews of the mauler nd supah valve all breaking at one point or another
From my understanding I think the dust valves that Matty!8somi have are better
So I figured I launch this thread

The Mauler is the best. I have seen both of the others in action, and they are nice, but they don't seem to be as powerful. A 1.5 inch QEV would only be better at high pressures, like 400 PSI. The Ideal setup for that would be a 2 inch by 24 inch steel chamber, and a 1.5 inch by 2.5 foot barrel.

They are two different valves. If you paid attention to our conversations you would know that. Mauler is a barrel sealer supah is a chamber sealer.They can only be used safely up to 120 125 psi..I prefer the dust collector dual valves cuz they can be taken to higher pressures and are more powerful. its a matter of opinion. my supah valve blew my mauler out of the water and the dust collector blows them both away and my dust collector hasnt broken!!! Its not a qev, its like one but its not one.ggdt will also show the superior valve which is the dust collector. ggdt link below.

thats why they break lol, i never heard of a dust valve breaking

Anytime you make or purchase a pvc valve you take a chance. Pvc isnt made for what we are using it for. Its a plastic, meaning it has a chance of breaking because of the force from the piston. The Mauler valve is the best barrel sealing valve that I have seen being sold and probably the best barrel sealing pvc valve on the site. I would recommend one to someone who wanted a barrel sealer.
The valves you are referring to are called dust collector valves or sometimes known as pulse valves with typical manufacturers like ASCO and Goyen to name two.
Secondly. this is not a fair comparison due to materials being used.
(PVC versus aluminum)
The biggest factor is a safety issue. The dust collector valves are designed for commercial pneumatic applications where homemade PVC valves are not intended for pneumatic use.

You tell em Dewey!!! Now thinking about what Dewey mentioned, its not really fair to compare a aluminum valve to a pvc valve. However, you cant get a mauler or a supah valve for 25 bucks!!

That's why I went with the monster dust valve!! Just cheap but awesome power!!!

they sure do, we use them at work probably have 30 of them going off every 5 min all day every day diaphragm last about 3-4 weeks at that kind of use.
