Hello,
I took a break from cannons for a couple years, but I'm about to start up again! I happen to have a ton of these QEV's sitting around, and would like to sell them to get some funds for a semi auto golf ball cannon I am working on... I have 8 of them, and since they retail for about $40 dollars shipped:

They are unused (just sitting in the box I recieved them in), so I will price them at:
$20 dollars shipped to Continental US (a nice discount for SpudFile'ers)
PayPal Only (for my and your protection)
Feel free to buy as many as you would like!

They have those same ones on ebay for less than 20 dollars shipped. Not really a bargain if you ask me....
Go Bruins!!!!
Keep in mind that most of the QEVs on ebay (Chinese brands) are not NPT but BSP which requires adapters to use NPT pipe/fittings.mattyzip77 wrote:They have those same ones on ebay for less than 20 dollars shipped. Not really a bargain if you ask me....
And if you get 3 adapters, which are roughly 10 dollars each off grainger... I'll rephrase, if you want to get a 3/4" QEV that uses NPT threads (the style we use in the US), then this is less than what you will pay to get one.

It's nice of you to offer a discount, but you won't get any buyers when there are cheaper alternatives on sites like amazon and eBay. I know you're only trying to make some cash for a good cause, (more guns ) but I don't see these selling when they can be purchased new from legitimate companies. And also IIRC, you got these free in a shipping error, so aren't you making 100% profit anyway?BeaverRat wrote:Hello... I have 8 of them, and since they retail for about $40 dollars...

Your right, maybe they are priced too high, but you have to remmember that it is only worth my time required to box them, create shipping labels, and ship them if I make some coin off of them right?Lockednloaded wrote:It's nice of you to offer a discount, but you won't get any buyers when there are cheaper alternatives on sites like amazon and eBay. With that said, these are still cheaper at their current price of $28 shipped than if you were to buy them new from a company. I have yet to find a NPT 3/4" QEV of this style that can be had for under this price.
BTW the link to amazon states those as being currently unavailable.

True, but if I were in your position, I'd charge a lower initial price with custom shipping cost for the buyer. That way you can lower prices for people closer to you, and not lose money shipping far away. Just my 2¢ anyway

Just to check, and I'm looking at you now jack, I could run the same semi auto , Supply>slide valve>qev set up with these QEV's the same as I could with the lower flow style?

Cheers, I figured that having access to a machine shop is worth celebrating with a new gun... eventually.
Beaver rat, If my design ends up at my original caliber then I'll contact you for one of these. It's likely to be a while untill I have things finalized though.
