Go to my first post, Ammo is 1/4" steel ball bearings.
I thought about a spring, and it would look neater if the magazine tube was underneath, but I couldn't find any suitable springs and the spring would take up ammo space, so I let Lady Gravity do the work with a little air assistance.

My aim was to build it for $0, it really pained me to spend $1.50 on the laser pointer, but I thought what the hell.

And yes farcticox came from arctic fox, I was trying to think of a unique user name years ago and the wife says 'look at that farctic ox' (arctic fox) on the TV, and I said 'brilliant'

If you type farcticox in Google I am on the whole first page of results, it's all me in various forums.

And here is the video

You can notice a couple of misfires between the second and third burst bouncing on the floor, must be when the pressure drops, but not enough to stop firing.

Got it in pieces at the moment, found some sweet stainless tube at work, 10mm od, 6mm id, going to change the barrel and ammo tube to fire airsoft bb's.

Also working on the sniper version at the same time. (my other post)

If you are still looking for a proper magazine spring for the airsoft bb's, you could purchase a cheap "mid cap" magazine off an online retailer and steal the spring out of the magazine.

Just got to add my laser pointer to it. I'm sure rate of fire is at least 6000/min, that 100 burst was under 1 sec.

It takes a couple of minutes to fill the tube for 1 second of fun.

You could wrap the ammo tube around to make it more compact.
It'll work just as well.

...and add a T and removable endcap for filling.
