G/day

Hey everyone just thought I would post up my first pneumatic build I have spent the last couple of days waiting for for parts and assembling my airsoft gun. It not completely finished atm also im wanting to to put bolt action design on it and add a adjustable hopup. I will post up some damage pics later threw the week as I'm going to purchase some .25g bbs nextweek. And parts still to come are a scope and bipod as I wanna try make it look like a sniper if anyone has suggestions fell free to tell me. :D

And if anyone I wondering how I fill my paintball tank I use a hill mk3 pcp pump that I got with the paintball tank from a cousin all for a $150 that's pcp pump, paintball tank and the palmer stabilizer.

Looks a bit ghetto but nice setup, especially your HPA setup - having all that for $150 is a real bargain! What pressure are you running at?

Thanks Jsr im using around 200psi atm but I fill my co2 tank to about 1800psi a get around 120 shots out of my tank so I'm reall happy with for a first build and the power really packs a punch when shooting targets. I'm thinking of another design to build for my second gun and using a wooden stock on the next one but I have no idea what I'm goin to build next any ideas would be appreciated.

Combining the HPA setup with a three-way valve piloted QEV and a simple tee magazine will give you a quick firing semi auto...

Depends what type... slide valves can be a bit iffy but this sort should serve you well: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1-8-PT-Female-T ... 484fbd5fbb

Never tried it though but I should order a couple to have a play :)

So this is the build you mentioned, excellent work. Can't recall if I told you, but your chamber to barrel ratio can be much smaller, 1:1, or less if you wind up the pressure.

Thanks for the input zeus but I don't think I'll change anything on this as I've learnt from my mistakes as I put every bit of info you's have all given me to my next build.

Nice looking, I am trying to get a full auto airsoft working with .12g @ 100psi, will be interesting to compare damage.

I find it funny that some of these valves look like were designed with a pneumatic gun trigger purpose in mind (i mean look at blowguns and the 3 way valve that jsr put in)

Not that surprising really, think of how many tools there are out there with pistol type grips and "triggers".
