i've heard that they're common, but have not seen any around, i would prefer not to buy online, but if worse comes to worse... i've heard that they are in walmart or any auto parts store, but have not seen any, any info would help, thx.

Also,in australia,1/8 bsp schrader valves at AG wholesalers.com.au(screw in type)
Should mention the seller said he has had them up around 500psi.

Also check Lowes, Menards, I believe Ace Hardware and Sears carries them too. Check by the air compressor parts/accessories sections.

Make your own! I solderd a bike schrader into a 1/4 npt plug.

That could also be an option I guess. Personally, I'd just buy 'em premade in a store, if you have to buy components to do this anyway.
