I'm building a robot that will go through a course and eventually shoot down some stacked cans. I was looking through some videos and the SpudFiles wiki and I think a pneumatic launcher would be great for my application. It seems a quick exhaust valve would be most appropriate considering the simplicity of it? However I'm having trouble understanding how it all goes together with the chamber and the the other components.
The launcher I have in mind doesn't need to be crazy. About 30cm/12inches firing something the size of a golfball accurate up to 1.75m.
I would appreciate if anyone could point me in the right direction. Perhaps provide some similar designs they've done in the past. Thanks!
