has any one had success with lawn genie brand sprinkler valves? i havent built the entire cannon so im wondering if i can save a few bucks for this brand instead of rainbird or watermaster...or should i not evan risk it.

You can use it. Just pull out the guide rod and bend a small L in one end. stick it in the diaphram hole then bend the other end so it osn't come out. Then just mod it standardly.

ok but evan if it did would i be able to do nothing to the rod and mod it as usuall

Unless you want the pilot in the middle you will have to remove the guide rod.

so if i take the rod out i could drill my whole where it used to be?
