I'm building a pneumatic cannon able to shoot coke bottles/cans over 100 yards. Im having a very hard time figuring out what size barrel to get that would shoot fairly accurately and about how big the air chamber needs to be. Any suggestion would be very much appreciated.

I would say either two 4" chambers or one 6" chamber, Barrel being 3"(1.5L bottles), im not sure what barrel fits a can or the smaller 600ml bottles.

you could get by with a 8 foot long, 3" barrel, and a 7 foot long 4" diameter air chamber, with a 2-3 inch ported piston valve.

a project this large is pretty expensive, involved, so be warned.

What does everyone think about 2 four foot long air chambers along with a 7-8 foot barrel?

300cal/3inch SCH40 PVC fits just about any thing you’d ever want to shoot; coke cans, coke bottles, spray paint cans, hair spray cans, glass bottles full of *** with a rag stuck in the end (just a joke don’t do that it’s illegal, I think it’s consider a class three destructive, or something like that.), double ought buck shot, BBS, paintball, marbles, etc. as for chamber just use two three inch cambers, if you can get pressure rated 3inch SCH40 just use that as it’s cheaper than something bigger and works just as well, plus I don’t know about you but I can’t get anything bigger than 3inch that NSF-PW.
Call me "Judge", it's easier to type.
