alright, since making my first cannon ( http://www.spudfiles.com/forums/my-firs ... 13732.html ) a few of my friends stopped over during/after the building process just to see what was up.
one of them stuck around and helped out, and just had to have his own. so the next day we collect some left over pieces I had, make a trip to homedepot for some missing parts. the gun has dwv but it is what it is, as i have a stock pile of it leftover from different jobs.
a few hours later..
16" 3" chamber
36" golfball barrel
it is extremely loud, I have a couple different barrels made up, but he insisted on a compact gun..
^satisfied customer haha
needs some finishing touches..paint/fan/etc
let me know what you think

Nice Cannon, although all the fittings are dwv, meh
dwv fittings? serpico501, i thought you would go "all-out" for a combustion that nice....or are we just getting lazy on the job? lol
very nice cannon though, considering a paint job?

it was for him, and it was pretty much built from things laying around, much like my first gun, only things I really had to run to the store for was the propane tank and its torch cap, and the pieces needed to make the metering unit.
I guess the gun turned out better then me and him expected it too, because honestly it was a late night crazy idea and built in a mad rush. he bottom lined me and said that he wanted a gun that he could shoot asap.
it will be painted flat black most likely, and the starter trigger needs replacing, we were shooting some thick wooden bookshelves and a golfball from my gun went through one layer ricocheted off the 2nd and stuck his unguarded gun right on the button lol one in a thousand shot rendering it totally unusable..
so I have some work to do today.. I will be putting in another spark gap in my cannon and fixing his.
do you guys have any experience with the electic push button grill starts? i saw one the otherday at walmart, they are something around $20 and fire off sparks until you let go of the button.
thanks again for this awesome site, im hooked, all I want to do is build/work/shoot cannons
