Gas Discharge Tube, Spark Gap
SIDAC
Littelfuse/Teccor K3002G is a 300V SIDAC

What would the correct search term be for perboard with single squares instead of dots or lines that seems to be standard?
Search EBAY Prototype Circuit Board

The 2SD1960 transistor, I cant seem to find an equal replacement, can somebody help me out?
What transistor is it on the Kodak board?
2SD965 and EBAY has them.

Thanks jrrdw, im gonna call mouser this afternoon and see about shipping. Seems a bit harsh with 20euro for shipping since we are located in the same country. If they dont have their supplies located at a different location.

Thanks dewey-1! Im having problem finding SIDACs but seems like mouser have spark gaps so it should be ok :)
Regarding the proto board it seems hard to just find single square ones. (single copper squares)
And last I also found that the 2SD965 should work fine as equivalent a few minutes before you posted :) used alltransistors.com

Thank you both very much for your help!

Exactly what I want, but that price tag is ridiculous. I like the square boards since its so easy to bridge the connections with just solder, dont need any jumpers/leads :)
http://www.ebay.com/itm/251162897652?ss ... 1438.l2649 found this atleast its about half price.
Its real hard to search for these since they have like 50 names for it, breadboard, perfboard, matrixboard, experiment board, testboard, proto board etc
I bought my others
http://www.ebay.com/itm/10Pcs-DIY-Proto ... 2897652%26 like 10 for $2

I got my HV coil today or ATV ignition coil. Its totally in capsuled in epoxy, any good ideas how to get it out smoothly?
Acetone or thinner was what i could find that might soften up the epoxy, buying it tomorrow for some testing ;)

Do not remove coil from epoxy casing! It is there to prevent arcing to external surfaces! Post a link and/or picture and part number of this coil.

I made my own High voltage coil, i puted 2x 1.5v 800mAh battery's, 2x 224k 400v capacitors, and a spark gap that i found from a powersupply (PC). I tryed all that, worked but the spark gap needed to be tucked and untucked from the coil to work, my Homemade coil gived me 1k + Volts but my camera circuit burned :( now my project failed, i will try to build my own circuit, if you have any pls send me link, thank.

Maybe you can use this circuit for the oscillator?

Instructables are usually made for idiots: http://www.instructables.com/id/home-made-stun-gun/

Why you would want something like that in your handbag is beyond me though. Do you switch it on and chuck it in? If so, what do you do when you need something from the bag? Do you constantly have to wear gloves?

:?

If you cannot figure out how to make one of these than you probably shouldn't have one....
