It looks awesome. Only question I have is how does he vent if before the next shot?

Good question, there doesn't seem to be a fan or anything. At about 11 minutes you can see there's a line connected to the chamber, maybe he's injecting compressed air?

The reloading mechanism reminds me of those automatic mortars:
