Hey me again!

I will soon build my first brand new combustion. I was tyhinking about doing a Y Chamber, so it's easier to shoot and to hold.

Any suggestions about it?

Edit : I got a brand new question. The plans I got for the potato gun tell me to dirrectly put the BBQ Igniter to the gun (with a hole) but I read on the forum not to do that.. Any clarification?

Dude stop, i know you just want help and id be happy to but you have to fiigure these things on your own, thats one of the fun parts about spudding. Look in a combustion all you need is a big chamber and a smaller than chamber barrel, a cleanout cap to add fuel, and a source of ignition everything else is up to your creativity and immagination you can go with a "y" A "T" it doesent matter as long as the thing is airtight it will fire, the only thing is that fuel wont mix as well in a y chamber. Next time please search, its easier that posting a topic.

a Y chamber is a good idea because you can put a chamber fan in one end and spray aerosol in the other.

Dude, what are you five... it sounds like your mommy just told you that you couldn't have a lolly-pop or some shit.

I'm not trying to be mean... you just need to realise that building a basic combustion is just that BASIC, it's not hard, and it's damn near foolproof. Just build it! It's not rocket science!

All you need to make a Basic combustion fire is:

Fuel
Spark
Something to put a potato and fuel in.

The reason not to put your grill igniter in the cap is so it doesn't come shooting out a you when you fire your cannon. Must people that I've seen mount there igniter in the cap didn't have any problems, but many have had problems.

I decided to not spud for various reasons : not just because some dude on a freaking forum refused to give me help.

The thing is I dont want to waste my time, its too loud for my area and theres actually nowhere suitable to fire it.

suit yourself then but your missing out on alot of fun. you should just build minis and medium sized guns. just do like a two inch chamber and half inch barrel or something.

Meh I dunno. I'm not close-minded... You know, live a little :p But so far it looks like I won't make a spud gun any time soon.
