Thats a really nice looking hybrid rambo... it's not ver ofte that you see a mini hybrid so it gladdens me too see that peole do make them.. im might be missing something but where do you connect the compressor... i gotta go, school bell just rang, also how far does it shoot a BB. is it accurate... ill add more later...

I didn't majure tha acuracy.But it is noisy and much more powerfull the a 6mm bb gun.

wait, how much pressure do you put in? if no burst disc, wouldnt the BB go out when you ignite the butane? I guess Im lost. I thought that with a hybrid you filled it with fuel and air before you hit the ignitor. I must be dumb or something cause I just dont get it

Edit: I looked at the wiki and I think I get it, you put more fuel in than if it was a normal combustion, that way when you turn on the ignitor it doesnt light, then you start filling with air to get the right mix, and when this is achieved it will go boom. Is this right?

so the tighter the ammo the more pressior you can add, kinda unrelyable, never know when it's gonna go off

cardinals no thats not right, but no big deal it tok me a while too basicly for a 2x mix you inject 2x the butane/propane/ fuel type, and then compressed to 14?psi and then it is ignited i dont know if that makes more sense, but scince there is 2x the fuel thers needs to be 2x the air pressurized in the chamber

ya, I knew that (I think), I was talking about what I thought he did.
In his picture he said "I fill it with butane, turn on the ignitor, and turn on the compressor"
I dont really need to understand it cause I dont think I want to build a hybrid (I mean I want to, but dont trust my self)

Yeah im also kinda stuck on taht whole bit about not needing a burst disc cuz of the friction or w/e....and the whole ignitione sequence is also kinda confusing...

well, he wouldnt need a burst disc cause the ammo fits tight enough in the barrel that it isnt pushed out until the bang because there isnt alot of pressure until the bang. because the fuel mixture would be rich, he could start the ignitor without it combusting, then he turns on the air compressor to add air which leans the mixture until it bangs. this makes sense in my head, but again, Im not sure if it is right for this cannon

cardinal i'm pretty sure that's how it works although it that is so then wouldn't there not be a very efficient fuel air ratio? because a fire doesn't burn well when there is just barely enough fuel for it to be flamable right?

other than that a very good idea rambo, very creative

When the fuel ignite there will be more then enough preshure to fire like pneumatic at least.But it is sure more powerful the a combustin.I was tring to make another oes but two of them blwol up.
