hybrid setup
I want to take a 3" steel pipe plenty thick weld two square plates on the end then put a 1" union for the barrel. On the back i was thinking a 1/2 inch cross. One leads to a psi gauge with bar rating for easy mixing and between gauge and cross a valve to protect the gauge from pressure spike. On the opposing side a female quick connect to inject air and propane with valve to protect it. Straight across from the inlet to chamber a car spark plug. Will this setup be a safe and realiable way to set it up.
As long as everything is welded properly, yes.
Though you should look out for the possibility of DDT when you've got a big chamber running high mixes.

Drawings are always welcome.
Post em. Maybe we have a few notes about the design.

Okay good that you found that out. Very well then, I guess I'll see it appearing in the showcase right? ![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_e_smile.png)

yes it will be in the showcase. It will look a bit different than the sb15? i think it is. But I'm planning on making it hand held and only reason it will take so long is the funds. I'm in high school with all college classes. Lots of hw and to add that on i have hockey 7 days a week. Now im off to hockey !
Edit: build complete. My own spark plug attachment, one fill zone, 1.5" union. Just under 1000ml chamber. Devised unique firing box with camera ignition.
