So far I'm deciding what kind of parts i'm going to use. Theres the possability of using an old crossbow shaft or totally designing from scratch.. I was thinking that when you draw the string back it could revolve the ammo cart.
I have actually made a very deadly bow from wood and thin superhard sea grass twined together from the beach. took me about 20 minutes. Made my own arrow and the bow probably had like 50 lbs of test strength and could probably take down a midsize animal if you were in desperate need for survival.
Come to think of it you can find all sorts of things on the beach that float up that could be useful for different hobbies including spudgunning. I have found countless golfballs , hardened peices of driftwood in the shape of stocks, glass and metal float balls from nets...
I think I will challenge myself to this project and build the entire unit from peoples leftover junk. So this morning I shall be off diving in various dumpsters and looking for scrap parts lying around friends yards and garages and will report back later with the findings. Thanks for the inspiration guys
