Wow that's the first before and after photos I've seen, how far away from the river are you?

Yeppo they are turning off all the grids in areas which are filling up with water.
I drove down to Byron Bay today to stay at my mums place until all the water goes away.. Hence the internet access

ok, so i managed to get a hold of some of these paintballs today. they are a little inconsistent but they only deviate to up to 0.15mm smaller than 12.7mm. they dont work very well in a modded nerf gun, as the breeches are about 13.2mm. however, 2 layers of tissue paper makes them fit snug and work fairly well. (flys a whole lot straighter than a nerf dart anyway)

so, ive started designing an airgun to work with these. win!

i would presume they are, but 1/2 inch cpvc is scarce here. I tried ordering some from mcmaster once but they wouldn't ship to me because i wasn't a regular customer or trusted client or something?

probably just as impossible to find. I haven't seen it on my travels. Bunnings is usually the place to find things like that, but they sometimes stock just useless sizes and nothing you actually need. Other than that is mitre 10 and home hardware, which are even worse. About all you can find is 100mm dwv, and that's about it.

.5 in is about 13mm isnt it? because i think i once bought an aluminium pipe from bunnings that was 13mm, take one with you and see if it fits or just go buy the pipe it was only like $5
why make it if it dosent shoot?

nah 0.5 inch is 12.7 mm. You wouldn't think 0.3mm would matter, but in tolerance terms it's way too loose

In this case it's the equivalent of having a tight fitting projectile but cutting a 2.5mm square hole in the barrel.

i just thought that if its a snug fit in 1/2in CPVC that maybe in 13mm pipe it wouldnt have have that .3mm gap, i just thought you could give it a go i only just had a quick look with a rouler so there is still a possibility that it is 12.7mm
why make it if it dosent shoot?
