Good to know that my hard work means I'm doing better than a second hand Spanish lower end air rifle
Gamo make powerful rifles, a medium end Gamo whould happily go over 800 fps, probably more.
Not accurate though (either Crosman with stock barrel  I got one Crosman barrel, 40 bucks and really crappy), when go out shooting with my friends I can shot off tree leafs one by one while their Gamos can only hit the leafs, bench rest at 20m.

Still have to see how accurate this thing is :)

In the meantime, progress! Replaced the strong sear spring with a much weaker one, adequately supported with a brass spring guide, and also added a length of Picatinny rail:

I also replaced the muzzle block with a larger diameter one to keep the barrel parallel to the pump tube, here it is with a QD red dot sight attached:

Now to see if I can get some chrony results, quite a grey day but fingers crossed.

Two bicycle LED light will solve that, place them on top of the sun shade.

On the picture it seems like the lower brass piece does not extrude into the upper piece... Would be more stable if it does IMO, like the one you've linked earlier.

That would be ideal but I only have fluorescent lighting at the moment. I have some LED strips somewhere, will give them a go tomorrow morning.

This was a quickie, I'll make a better one later but it seems to work quite well to be honest, the trigger is a lot more pleasant now.

Looking good :)

Is the radius cut into the bottom of the brass breech necessary for fitting the breech to the gun? Otherwise I might make one while I still have access to machining tools, it won't be long until my internship starts and I won't have any machining tools until I have my own house and money to buy some...

Not strictly necessary, but it does keep it aligned with the pump tube.

Ahh nice, a shallow cut with a mill will suffice I think :)
I'm planning on making the breech full length, so it covers the entire barrel.
Of course with a picatinny rail over the complete length.
Should keep the barrel from being flexed at every pump

Er... that's what it is, a shallow cut with a 3/8" ball end mill ;)

This should be interesting :)

Noticed, but I don't have any ball end mills at hand :D
If I had the opportunity I'd just make it flush with the tube hehe

Would it be posibble for you to specify some diameters of the gun? It would make it a lot easier to make parts for it :P

An end mill should be just as good. What diameters do you want exactly, I have loads! Hehe

Wyz, this one is definitely lower end at a chronoed 450fps with 15gr pellets of shizen. But it's minute of sparrow/rabbit head/mouse.

Jack, I don't suppose I could get a couple of details on the lower? I can find info on the pump, breech, everything, but not the trigger group and receiver. I'm curious about the thickness of the FCG and the inletting for it on the receiver.

Also that breech and bolt look excellent, I'm chasing some brass stock this arvo.

The length of the barrel tube, the diameter of the pump tube, and the diameter of the barrel.
The center-to center distance of the barrel and pump tube would be very helpful too :)

Cheers!

Stock 1322 is advertised as doing 460 fps on the packaging it came in, I must have improved it quite a bit - can't wait to get some actual numbers.

Frame width looks to be exactly half an inch, I don't have my vernier caliper here. I no longer have a workshop which doubles as a bedroom  will take some pictures tomorrow.

Cheers, my original plan was to blacken it but the shiny is growing on me.
The length of the barrel tube, the diameter of the pump tube, and the diameter of the barrel.
Barrel is approx 10 inches, 11mm diameter though the muzzle has a short section of 0.3" diameter. Pump tube is 0.75". again I don't have my caliper to hand.
The center-to center distance of the barrel and pump tube would be very helpful too
Whatever you want it to be ;) again I didn't try to replicate the original breech, made my own which fit then made the muzzle plug to fit. I don't recommend trying to make this without the intended host gun in hand, there are a lot of holes to line up...

Still no chrony results but some progress, following criticism from Europe ( :D ) I redid the sear spring, smoother now... and remembered that I have a nice Russian пдк-23 red dot, no need for Chinese airsoft crap hehe

I took it apart to look at the valve again, it's still not fully reliable. Here's the pump tube underside, frame and flat top delirin pump head.

Finally some data, from one of these so not sure about the reliability but it's all I have working at the moment. Numbers are averages from 3 shots all with 14.3 grain nominal Crosman Hollowpoints:

10 pumps - 406 fps - 5.2 ft-lbs

15 pumps - 455 fps - 6.6 ft-lbs

20 pumps - 488 fps - 7.6 ft-lbs

The package it came in says it was doing 460 fps, presumably that was at ten pumps... I'm guessing that since the chamber volume is higher, it needs more pumps to reach the same pressure.
