Ok, before I send money and time on something that won't work...
Would it be possible to make a marble bbmg?

P.S. I know I literally just wrote a topic a few minutes ago but they go together, but shouldn't be in the same thread.

Ok it will work iffffffff you have a valve connected to the chamber that has very high flow, high enough pressure, and a large I mean huge airsource. BTW you will spend a hell of alot on marbles I don't think you should do this, I also don't think I should be spoon FEEDING you.

Actually, I went to the dollar store, and I found a thousand marbles for like 3 dollars...

That's not a very big supply... but for three dollars it's not bad. You'll need a huge air source, I would try for at least 40 gallons.

It's not worth it you'll be spending so much for a few seconds of operation.

Beats the perpose of nameing it a dollar store ehh... But even then it will be around I think 30rps so if you use it enough it might add up to some money. Just think 3 second burst and you fired about 100 marbles.

I really wasn't planning on having a long uh... operational time.

Your air consumption will still be so great becuase of the mass and pressure required.

I have a fifteen gallon compressor, do you think that will be enuff for a 3 second burst?

I would say yes it is possible, but do not take the vortex block route, If you really just want automatic marble gun, I would use the popoff piloted QEV method, it does not require such a massive air supply, is much more efficient.

I would give you a link, but I have no idea where it is.

Well, then can someone explain it... Because I'll be honest I'm a nub!

Ok, well it is essentially just a normal marble gun, think just air tank, QEV, and barrel,

Now, instead of a blowgun on the QEV, theres a popoff valve, so when it reaches a certain pressure, a blast of air, so as long as it is on contsant air, it will fire automatically.

Then, on the barrel, just add a T with a magasine on it, and in the T, just a little paddle behind the marbles that when the gun is fired, it flips up and blocks more marbles from firing.

Pretty simple, but effective, all you have to do is be sure you have the popoff moded to just below whatever your operating pressure is.

My vortex design:

Edit: I know its not good, and I could do what you said but my dad said we might be getting a new compressor (35 Gallon).

yea no.

I'm telling you, you will be dissapointed, unless you have a MASSIVE air supply, you will not be happy with the results, I can almost guarantee it.

Where would I get a qev?
