I have been looking online for ALONG TIME and last nigh i even stayed up until 1:30 am doing google searches. These are the two im leaning towards:
http://www.airsplat.com/Items/AR-AGM-AWP-002.htm
or
http://www.airsplat.com/Items/AR-UTG-AWP-368A.htm
I like the second one better though
This is what I need:
Spring power,
430-470fps(about0
20+ capacity
bolt action or semi
If its scoped under 140$
Unscoped under 110$
Thanks if you have any suggestions

I can tell you from experience, if you are absolutely dead set on getting a sniper, hands down go with the JG.
http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.p ... ts_id=2761
This is an EXACT clone of the Tokyo Marui VSR-10. All Internals can be upgraded with the same parts. If you didn't know, the VSR-10 has more parts than any other sniper, and a friend of mine has upgraded his to over 600 fps (660 I believe) with torso accuracy @ 300 ft every shot.
Also, I personally own the UTG M324. It works well, however fps leaves much to be desired in a sniper. You also will have to care for it, i.e. clean it often and re-tighten some parts. Another downside; for a sniper, it is VERY loud.
ps - EDGI sells M324 upgrade parts, however I don't recommend any upgraded spring as the trigger assembly is plastic and there is no metal version. If you find one, please tell me!
Yet another friend of mine owns the UTG Mk96 (we have a bit of a sniper 'club'). This is a good step up from the M324. It is very quiet and accurate, not to mention comfortable (I prefer the M324's comfort, but just barely). It also seems to be more solid. The bolt does NOT wiggle at ALL. Very sturdy gun. Some upgrade parts also at EDGI, but not as many as the M324.
Again, the JG is the obvious way to go. No lie, the only difference between it and the TM is a small seam, unnoticable at more than a couple of feet. If you aren't set on a sniper, however, I recommend a good AEG by Echo 1.
Happy Hunting, or whatever...

I would order off AirsoftGI over airsplat anyday.
And yes the JG Bar10 is the best affordable sniper rifle hands down.

I bought the bar 10 and i shot it three times, after that whene i pull the bolt back it stops for a second, then it slamms shut and the piston goes back forward with it. Anyone know whats wrong.

I have no experience, but could it be the sear? If so, It should be fairly straightforward to repair/replace it with a JB weld one.

chrissilvermancs wrote:the other gun u picked out if farly good i have seen it and used it but i have to say it is no comparison with a electric sniper like
http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.p ... ts_id=3436 which u can put up to 500 fps and still be considered OK under the sniper rule because its semi
that would actually be considered a DMR and not a sniper.

I prefer DMRs anyway. Not that I'll be buying one, I'm forced to manufacture my arsenal myself. But if I ever NEED a sniper rifle, I have my eyes on a $500 Dragunov springer.....
