Spring and bike pump-gun- (Im australian and poor)

So I cant get airsoft in this glorious land, and I cant afford lots of co2, so I'm trying to make one on the cheap. I dont have high expectations, just a spring design.

Because I cant get real barrels, I have to take a different approach. Im using a bike pump driven by a spring to force air into a small space, this air pushes on the bb. There is a blockage in the barrel (a glob of silicon or rubber or something) that makes it hard for the bb to push through, but the gas pressure overcomes it and bursts it out. Is this feasible? I dont have high expectations, I just wanna be able to have a gun that I can carry around and shoot with, doesnt have to be amazing.

Im totally open to any help, if my idea is crapola and you know of a spring design I could do please tell me I'm desperate.

You probably just want to drop the bike pump and build one of these but with an airsoft barrel. http://nerfhaven.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=6232

For the blockage, you could use an o-ring.

Thx for the link man.

Its hard to find o-rings of the right size, and the right constitution to allow the bb to get through but give resistance. I was makin o-rings outta rubber bands, but I thought I could inject a layer of glue that sets as a rubbery solid and then drill a hole in.

is there an online shop where I can buy all that stuff he listed? cos it would take me ages to find all that stuff.

What Im having most trouble with is a simple ammo system, like if I have an opening in the barrel to let bb's in, it will de-pressurize it and all that.
