A 100 psi shock pump? Dude you need to get your terminology straight. A shock pump is for high pressure mountain bike shocks and usually do at least 300 psi, some 400. A regular tire pump is commonly rated to 120 or 160 psi, depending on the brand. You should buy a cheap walmart floor pump for 15-20 bucks.

But aren't shock pumps leak free? Walmart floor pumps leak right? If not ill go buy a cheap floor pump. I just thought they would leak and not fill to it's full potential(150psi)

My floor pump retracts it's schrader stem needle when you unlock the head so there is no pressure loss, like some shock pumps. But if you plan on making small metal guns like penguns or anything like Urgle just posted, you should go ahead and buy a shock pump. Keep in mind that they are extremely low volume and would take ages to pressurize a gun this size to 150 psi.

Sounds good. The floor pump is $15 and it pumps to 165psi. My compressor at the moment is real sketchy so it will only pump 30psi so I have a video of that =p.

If you can, go to your local walmart, and look for the Zefal brand air pump. I can get 200 psi out of it, and a little bit more if I push it. But be careful, and don't keep the air hose under pressure at 200 psi, because mine popped. Its an easy fix, but it sure is a pain in the ass trying to find the split. Once you find the split though, just cleanly cut of that section and put it back together.

Don't push too far over the gauge (manometer) maximum. The gauge blew out on my first floor pump from pumping too hard.

Parents: Should we be happy that our son doesn't pester us for cash, or disappointed that he's too apathetic to seek resources for his ambitions?
