I always wanted to have a pellet shooting airgun. But due the
The high cost to obtain it ,I decided to convert my old Azodin paintball marker to a .22 cal pellet gun by replacing the .68 cal barrel with a Crosman 2240 barrel.

Sounds like an interesting project, do you have any pictures or videos? How are you loading the pellets?

I did a similar project years ago by getting a very old pump action paintball marker and jb welding a rod that I bored to a .177 cal into the original barrel. It was a muzzle loader but I ultimately abandoned the build due to its terrible accuracy and gas efficiency.

I actually got the idea for the project from a guy AK Custom on youtube on how turn a semi auto marker to a bolt action pellet rifle. I disabled the semi auto function in the marker by replacing the valve stem with pump action valve stem. The semi auto stem a section of the rod cut away to allow some air to push the hammer back to engage the sear while the pump action one has no such feature. This mods ensures that all the air is used on pushing the pellet in the barrel.
I enlarged the original paintball loading hole using a hacksaw and files.

Yes ....hm....I'll try to fix it. Sorry
Image of the loading gate.
The completed build. The conversion actually works .Shots were surprisingly accurate. This was probably due to the rifled barrel. As for power and fps I am not very sure as I have no access to a chrono

They were there as animated GIFs but didn't survive the thread cleaning, it worked well in the preview but glitched during the procedure. This was the 1st for me.jackssmirkingrevenge wrote:Still can't see the images.
