As the topic says, what’s everyone favourite projectile diameter, projectile material and Projectile Shape for your (Full Semi single) shot airguns, and why? Curios to see what we can “bounce” off eachother.

Me
Round: 6mm Full Aluminiun, Pointed Tip Pellets
Reason: Speed to target and reasonable penetration at close/medium ranges, cheap. Easy to cast.
Weap Platform: Any Semi/Full/Single Shot I can chamber it to.

0.75" is good for a medium bore, it lets you shoot CO2 cartridges or variations thereof :)

Other than that I've tried everything from 1mm to 76.2mm and I can't say I have a particular preference, every caliber has a charm, advantages and disadvantages and it depends on your budget and what you wish to achieve.

6mm airsoft, it's cheap, it goes through pop can's, I don't need anything more than that. Just got 100 steel 6mm ball bearings as well :D

I've always been a fan of 50 caliber airguns
You can get 1/2" ball bearings pretty cheap and they really pack a punch.

I have a few, 6mm from airsoft of course.

Silicone tipped blow darts..but i have only fired them at around 40psi max...so i will need to make new ones..

My new fav is AAA batteries...they fit my barrel like a glove. :P

Looking forward to launching 8mm ball bearings also.

I haven't fired launched anything yet, tomorrow will be my first test run. :bounce:

Being new to pneumatics i'm sure i'll have a few more...
