Ideal Chamber Size

I recently made an airsoft bbmg and a .177 bbmg. They were both about 6 inches long and have a diameter of 1.5 inches. The airsoft one works great and has a huge resovoir for bbs, but the .177 bbmg would only shoot intermittantly and then shoot like fifty in a half second (not hard mind you) and then not any more till i messed with it again. I was wondering if there was some holy grail for a chamber size. I have a 10gal tank that i use. It goes up to 125psi. Oh, for the barrels, i used 1/4 in brakeline for airsoft and then copper tubing that had been flared at one end for the .177. It was almost a perfect fit. Also, the .177 had a barrel that was only about 11 or 12 inches. Thanks in advance

That was really vauge, do you mean the chamber of the BBMG or the compressor?
If its the BBMG then the smaller chamber is the bigger. (higher pressure)

i meant the size of the bbmg. The reason im asking this is because i made a .177 bbmg and it didnt work. I think that is because it had too big of a chamber. I was wondering if there was some sort of a standard or a good size for a bbmg.

try changing the chamber of the bbmg to smaller, or use a bigger barrell so the bbs can get out easier.

Cut the chamber down a couple inches and (if possible) move the barrel down a little.
