Help with BBMG

I just ordered a vortex block from noname for a BBMG. Except...

I have no idea where to start.

I'm expecting the block today and plan on started the gun over the weekend. I am going to make a simple version of the gun and test it with a newly bought compressor then build an advanced frame around it of PVC.

So, can anyone give me, well, a list? of the basic parts to connect the block to a piece of air hose to a 3/4" ball valve to more air hose to a blowgun? I am new to BBMGs and designs and haven't found any understandable plans on-line.

Here's a basic strafer diagram, I know I can't draw a vortex block.

what about the ram? you need a ram to push the ammo forward

So basically, I get some pipe (PVC, but of what diameter?), center the vortex block in there, drill a hole for the air input, can one end, drill a hole, insert barrel, get a sewer cleanout and cap, pop it on the other end. Right? What diameter pipe should I use?

well all of my bbmgs use 1.5" but lots of people use 2", and yea you pretty much got the idea. its pretty simple

IKM3T, you don't need a ram. Though they allow you to aim and fire consistently in any direction, you need a good spring for it. Too big of a spring jams the gun. My first 4 or 5 strafers didn't have plungers, and they worked fine.

Spudbud, you will be using 1 1/4" pipe, because that's what I made the vortex block for. The barrel should be pretty well centered, although I can't tell, because the block's en route to you currently.
A basic parts list would be:
1 1/4" PVC, say, 8" long
1 1/4" end cap (for the front)
1 1/4" female adapter
1 1/4" plug
9/32" or 5/16" brakeline, preferable the 9/32."
1/8" close nipple
blowgun
male QC

Slide the block into the front of the gun, use a drop of epoxy to secure it, drill a hole underneath it (see diagram for correct placement), tap the hole or ghetto tap it and screw in the nipple. Line up the block with the end cap, drill a hole in it, and put it on without cement. You want the gun to be serviceable, and cement isn't required for it. You can use a screw or two if you're paranoid about it blowing off. The rest is pretty straightforward.
