I made this combustion to beat bigbob12345's mini combustion. I did so and then some. this monster is a whopping 4" long! uses butane.

supplies used:
long-nosed lighter igniter
3/4 inch section from a bic pen (chamber)
2 inch section from the ink tube from the pen (barrel)
small nut for the barrel
some electrical tape to hold it all together

projectile: 1/16" sections of 1/64" wire.

its a break-barrel gun so i fuel it from the front. This thing was a b*tch to find the right fuel mixture. took me like 50 tries before finding the right one. And i know i didn't use pressure rated parts but...I'll risk it. (lol) I'm the dare devil type, so I could care less if it blows up in my face, after all....its only a face (being sarcastic because of its size....sounds like a mosquito fart when it goes off).

enjoy! I only got 4 good shots off of it that went about 8-12".
If anyone would like to take the challenge to try to beat me, you are more than welcome. its a lot harder than it looks. bigbob12345 knows what I'm talking about, lol.

btw, see bigbob's new avatar? that was me. lol. made it like 20 mins ago.

anyway, enjoy the cannon!

I've already beaten both of them. Can't find it right now, but it was a cheap $5 gun. It has a chapstick container as the chamber and part of a pen tube as the barrel. The sparkgap was made of two thumb taks and used a little lighter ignitor. I built it when I was just getting into potato guns. It wasn't useful unless the barrel was plugged. The thing sounded exactly like a little party popper when it shot. I could also, unlike all of my other ones, fire it up to 8 times on one fueling of body spray. Great for annoying people or scaring the crap outta them. But your right, your gun is the smallest combustion on the site. I think I'll beat yours officially now. Muahh ahh ahh!!

This is my smallest one that I can find. It was born from inspiration that came of JSR's pen gun. Mine's a coaxial combustion. It's not that impressive compared to JSR's so I never posted it.

Well I didn't saw this one was smaller. I just said it was the smallest one I could find. And sure, I'll put it next to a ruler. Gimme a sec. I don't know how the picture is gonna turn out. It's starting to get dark out.
