This turned out surprisingly well for something I built out of sheer boredom..
The nerf barrel was from a project that never really lifted off. It's a length of 1/2" sched40 pvc (this is probably the closest to a perfect C:B I've ever got got a mini) epoxied to a cap that fit perfectly on the chamber.
I cannibalized "C/B Nightmare" for the igniter, that worked nicely. My only real beef with this thing is that the electrical tape is all tacky (from a really old roll.)
Next step is burst-disk.
UPDATE: Got the non-tacky tape and tried out burst disk (1 layer plastic shopping bag,) and its great! You can;t even see the Nerf dart as it leaves the barrel =DDD

I dont think that plastic bag would work so well as a burst disk when it's used in one layer...

2x hybrid? first: I think that would get to the point where the neighbors will call the police and 2: I doupt the pill bottle will hold up to that. sure sounds fun though lol

How is it ridiculous? Like, the barrel is too big? Or is the chamber too big (I'd choose this side. The barrel could be a bit longer...)frankrede wrote:the cb ratio is ridiculous with the nerf barrel!
I've measured it w/ water myself, its nowhere near optimum (I didn;t have a longer pipe laying around)
