He posted a link to an ebay auction for small "jewelerry" beads. If you wanted a much more accurate solution something like this would probably work better.

He's just working in scales that are familiar to him... :D
ouch :D :D :D

Anyway this cannon is epic, I need to make some up for school...

I suppose I should challenge you to build a pump that could pass for a pen :D.

I'm surprised the members here aren't screaming for "damage pics"

It's only a matter of time before this turns into a thread about fallaces. JSR, if I recall, started that in my micro over-under combustion thread.

Have you got a shock pump? If so, PM me your address and it's yours ;)

As above, very cheaply from ebay

I got my 3mm bearings from them, though for 1mm I don't think it's worth bothering with "accurate solutions" ;)

What am I now, the challenge bitçh? :D

Maybe because pin-pricks in pieces of paper or tiny dents in beer cans aren't really that impressive ;)

JSR knew the phallic inferences were almost inevitable, I guess he's getting his just rewards  :D

Re: smallest *working* gun on spudfiles: pico-ax

Hmm. What you need to do is make half a dozen of these, then a tiny little double barrelled shotgun to load them into - complete with a trigger so frakking small you have to "pull" it with tweezers.

... And voilà, the smallest cartridge fed gun on Spudfiles.

Actually...that would mean he'd get as close to immortality as humanly possible.

Not in the form suggested though, the beauty of a shotgun is that your target has to stare down a 0.75" bore ;)

I might be tempted to make a cartridge along these lines that will fit into a small pocket pistol type package like a Baby Glock, I wouldn't expect it to blow back but it could be manually recocked in the same way as the Brocock Para.

Power would be a lot more reasonable than the subject of this thread, but I could use the same trick of using the schrader body as the piston body.

Wow it took me till now to realize that the whole gun was just a schrader valve. Maybe you can use this as a mini injector for the worlds smallest rail gun! On the other hand if this is an auction of pico-ax's then mark me down for one i want one so i can use it in my civil war project as a working cannon!

I might make a limited run for distribution but definitely not for now, too much on my plate at the moment.

JSR, I am aware that the(can you call it a gun) has been named, but what about calling it the alpha gun.
Also, very nice work.

(I know the thread is somewhat elderly, but it's the most recent thread anyway).

I prefer to say "launcher", less threatening :)

Ok, The alpha launcher. Actually, that's far more apt a name considering my reference to the particle of the same name which is stopped by a few centimetres of air or a sheet of paper.
Forgive my obscure joke.
